Coronavirus Update

In line with the latest government guidance we are excited to announce that our stores will be reopening on Monday 15th June. Please note that initially we will be trading with reduced hours and at reduced staffing levels. We hope over the coming weeks and months with your help and support we can increase both.

 

From Monday the 15th our trading hours will be:

 

10.00am – 4.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday we will not be open on Wednesday or Sunday until further notice.

 

We have been working hard behind the scenes to make our stores as safe a shopping environment for both customers and staff alike. With this in mind, we have put in the following provisions:

 

Dedicated entry and exit points in department stores

Clearly marked one way system in operation in department stores

Hand sanitizing station at entrance to store

2m social distancing markers at till points

Enhanced cleaning and hygiene regime in place

Lift reserved for use of disabled and customers with mobility problems

Dedicated ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ Staircases between floors

We will also be monitoring customers flow and customer numbers at all times.

 

We have done our utmost to make these changes as obvious as possible and have reminders posted throughout the stores. We would also urge customers to respect the 2m social distancing requirement in regards to other customers and our staff; we in turn will do the same.  We are happy to offer any help and product advice you may need; we will just need to do it from slightly further away for the time being.

 

Unfortunately, in the short term we have also had to close our café / restaurant, public toilet facilities and fashion changing rooms, all areas present significant social distancing issues and as such, in accordance with government guidelines will remain closed until further notice. We are more than happy for customers to purchase fashion items to try on at home, if they are unsuitable and unused a full refund will be given within 28 days of purchase.

 

We do appreciate that finding the perfect fit for underwear is not easily done at home;  we will therefore be offering a visual, socially distanced bra fitting service by appointment. We will allow customers sole use of our changing room and endeavor to provide a visual fit check and offer any advice needed.  An appointment can either be booked in store or by phoning either store in advance.

 

Our Barnstaple furniture store will also be opening on the 15th, but in order to monitor customer numbers in the store we will be operating a closed door policy in this store. Simply ring the door bell and we will let you in. In the unlikely event that we already have too many people in the store, then you may have to wait a short while. Once in store, the one way system will be explained to you by our staff.
